BTS video via @eudanielmag Richard Avedon, um dos expoentes da fotografia de moda e retratos da história disse certa vez que, “o fotógrafo é um especialista em breves encontros”. Isso não poderia ser mais verdade, visto que no curto tempo de ensaio, você precisa desenvolver uma conexão com a pessoa frente à sua câmera, de tal modo que consigam juntos formar um resultado final. A temática da direção ainda é um mistério pra muitos fotógrafos e eu sempre gostei de abordar esse assunto nas salas de aula. Por vezes de forma polêmica, por vezes de forma técnica. A verdade é que, nessa breve caminhada, já vi colegas dirigirem das mais diferentes formas. Extrovertidas ou tímidas, cada um do seu jeito e usando suas técnicas para envolver e convencer o fotografado das suas idéias. Dirigir antes de mais nada, é um trabalho de convencimento. Aqui eu compartilho alguns fragmentos do meu método, porque ele começa muito antes do dia do ensaio em si (quando possível). Gosto de observar o posicionamento de cada parte do corpo. Cabeça, braços, pernas…traçam linhas, planos e criam movimento na imagem, quase como um conjunto de setas que dirigem seu olhar.

Been busy with personal life and doctors appointments, studio set up and just life in general. Remember social media doesn’t rule your world it’s ok to take a break time to time. One of those investments was a @sigmaphoto 35mm 1.4 ART lens as you can see when you swipe. I wanted to add another focal length to my lens collection. I already used it in my home studio for some client work.(posted on my story) When you swipe you can see just how windy it was out there that day but even with the conditions we were able to get some incredible shots! I’m booking lavender shoots at @aracelifarms farms between now and June (until the season is over).
