I'm asked often how my skin always looks so glowy in my photos and the answer is THIS!!... OILS AND BUTTERS! Even better when those oils are high end like Argan oil and Shea butter that have long term benefits that will keep your skin young and radiant. . . . #bodybutter #bodycare #healthyskin #glow #glowingskin #naturalskincare #cleaningredients #thebasicsoaps #beauty #luxurry

My clients always ask: "how do you handle the holidays? How do you track macros...etc" Me: YOU DON'T It's a day or even a weekend.. whatever. Enjoy it. What you do most often is what matters most and it's not like Christmas is every weekend. A year ago I was sitting in the hospital, legs paralyzed, body shaking and feeling incredibly weak physically & mentally... I took home the sweetest little boy who's done nothing but brought joy to all 3 of us however My body went through ALOT. I never talked much about this but if you're interested read on.... The small things that are actually large we take for granted... like walking, lifting our legs even in a seated position, going up 1 step, changing positions in bed, lifting yourself out of bed... these things are "small" and go unnoticed until you're unable to do them.  We aren't sure what happened to my legs. No one really knows but each day was a journey to gain strength back and start walking again. For 3 days My husband had to literally adjust my legs for me in bed as I could not even lift them for a simple move, he carried me and even wheeled me to the bathroom everyday till eventually (day 4) I could shuffle to the bathroom with his support. There was lots of crying. I just felt helpless and I'm not one to ask for help. I'm a doer, I get things done with or without help so this was incredibly difficult for me. By day 5 I was walking without any assistance (I guess I wouldn't call it walking... more like shuffling because I couldn't lift my legs but I could glide them in tiny movements on the hardwood floors) I was so happy to be moving on my terms. Stairs took much longer to master.. I was asked why we were sleeping downstairs when I posted a couple photos of us and baby Kai with the sofa made out into a bed and the reason was that I couldn't make it upstairs. My husband stayed close by and wouldn't sleep till the sun was up most days just to make sure he was there if I needed something. (he was amazing through this all btw) Everyday I worked on strength and every day I got stronger and healed. Today I stand proud and grateful that my body took care of me and so I will continue to take care of it because it's the only one we get. ❤

"Do you always do the same workout routine? Isn't it boring?" What's not boring is getting results!! Yes I do the same routine over and over and over again till I get Stronger and better at it...why? Because as anything in life you need to be consistent, nourishing it and focusing on it. When you focus on the same muscle and challenge it to make it stronger for a long time you'll advance that muscle... when you take a long break from the gym that muscle wont just disappear since you've worked it for so long.... buuutttttt when you keep rotating which muscles you work each workout and you keep switching things up, making them "fun" or "fancy" you'll never give them enough time and consistency to advance and grow them... so yes, YES! IM BORING.... ????
