Congratulations to our dearest @soniamajeed & movie director, Shrey Rajdeo. Sonia, a young aspiring Professional Singer, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is the First Asian Female Singer who has sung UAE National Anthem, a Global Good Will Ambassador, Global Peace Ambassador, Messenger of Humanity and winner of International Peace Award & many more awards connected to her name. “The story of Salam Madarsa Hindustani inspired me a lot & Being a Humanitarian & Peace Global Ambassador, I feel it was my duty to be a part of this movie & help spreading this noble message.” says, Sonia. In his first-ever feature film titled Salam Madrasa Hindustani, Rajdeo sets out to explore Madrasas in rural India. The film tells the story of two kids, Imran and Ali, who befriend a ragpicker, Bantu, and convince his father to let him study at their Madrasa. Soon, things go for a toss after both Bantu and the Madrasa’s Maulvi (teacher) go missing. Unsurprisingly, the blame falls on the Maulvi and his Madrasa. Next, it is up to Maulvi’s son Shahid, who arrives from Dubai, to clear the allegations made on his father and the Madrasa. From the UAE, Rajdeo has worked with, @imrana.majeed.photographer who is the Co-Producer of this film, & Sonia Majeed has been introduced as the main singer & It’s her debut in Bollywood films. Tried making #ummali for the first time & am really happy with the outside ? ... A very easy & delicious Emirati dessert which is loved by everyone... . Sharing the recipe... hope you all will enjoy it as much as we have... . Ingredients 2 litres milk @alrawabiuae , reduced to half( whole or 2% milk) 1 can of @rainbowmilk sweet condensed milk 1/2 tsp cardamon powder 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder 10-11 @risefreshness butter puffed mini croissants 1/2 cup mixed nuts 1 tablespoon raisins Shredded coconut . Instructions Preheat the oven to 175 C/350 F. Using a knife, roughly cut the puffed mini croissants into pieces. Put them into a baking dish. Keep it aside. Keep it aside. Sprinkle the nuts, coconut and raisins on top. Once the milk is reduced, add the sweet condensed milk, cinnamon & cardamon into it. Stir and mix until it forms a uniform rich, creamy mixture. Pour the milk mixture evenly over the croissant pieces so that the croissants gets soaked. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve it warm.
