It’s been 6 months since I moved to New York and I’m just now facing the consequences of my actions… I’m deprived of legit Mexican food! ???? But I’ve struck a bit of luck lately and have found a taco spot worthy of a post. Yeah yeah yeah, every New Yorker will tell you to hit up the Instagram famous birria truck ???? but I take issue with the fact that the tacos don’t come with Consome. They make you pay for it! Call me spoiled but when you’ve lived your whole life on the greener side of the grass, it’s pretty hard to adjust. Until, I found @taqueriasinaloense225. Not only is this a hole-in-the-wall spot reminiscent of taco stands in LA but also “servido con consomé gratis” ???????? AS IT SHOULD BE! While you might be tempted to stick to just the Birria tacos, don’t sleep on the Tacos de Canasta and Tacos Gobernador, a traditional Sinaloa style shrimp taco.
