Happy Freenote Friday featuring the Trabuco 14.5 ounce Kaihara Denim with six months of wear. The raw selvedge denim is on the cutting table now with a late February completion date. We will produce an estimated 100 pairs of jeans out of 273 yards of fabric. The Trabuco is our version of a classic fit denim. Our goal was to create a great fitting pant with a perfect balance of comfort and taper. If you are looking for a fit that isn’t too loose or too tight, this is it. #freenotecloth #freenotefriday

Shifter Pants are finally back in the house. Our favorite non denim non five pocket pant has been gone for far too long. Inspired by classic garage style pants, the fit is generous without being too baggy. Our goal was to design a comfortable pant with a timeless aesthetic. Starting with our slim straight Workers Chino as a template, we opened up the top block by adding room to the thigh and giving the pant a higher rise for a more relaxed seat. The leg opening was also widened to create a balanced straight-fit. We employed the same interior finishing details found on our Workers Chino, including a two-piece waistband finished with binding and premium pocket bags from Japan. #freenotecloth

We have something very special shipping to our friends in Louisiana today. A few months back @ironshopprovisions requested some limited westerns shirts using a plaid we used in the past. We had exactly 50 meters of each roll available good for 15 shirts in each colorway. These Modern Westerns are equipped with bias cut pockets, matching side seams, rope rimmed snaps. and rinsed to remove all shrinkage.
