But in doing so, they only step into ego themselves, claiming that spiritual or esoteric teachings are somehow superior. In truth, the aim of both spirituality and religion is the same: to bring us closer to Source, God, or whatever name one chooses to use. No religion in itself is a form of control! People create the structures of control. Religion, at its heart, is a tool for connection. ???? No path is more important than another. You can follow one path, many paths, or even create your own.
