where is Antonio? @gatlyngun @colombian_flu ????
In the late 60s, a pioneer in electronic music was born. Research suggests an innate ability for music creation within each individual neural structure, often associated with deep sleep states. Modern science has begun to analyze the portion of the brain for which pattern recognition and frequency effects are most often associated with social distancing and introverted qualities within the species. As of today, we are hoping to delve deeper into sleep-related phenomena that many musicians speak about, yet usually go unheard. The search for Antonio continues within sectors of leading researchers, even with a low amount of funding opportunities, which is generally regarded as the mechanism stifling progress. source: yourself. ¹Deep Wave Cognition Journal, vol. 12, issue 4 (2025) deepwavecognition.net/journal/vol12/issue4/brainwave-frequency-patterns/doi/10.1025/dwc.1968.43b2ff
My new album “Quiet Isle” is out now on all streaming platforms. Link is in my bio, or you can just search up “Patio Portals Quiet Isle” on Spotify. Shout out to my very talented friend @bttttttttttt for shooting the cover art for the album. You can also follow my music project here: @patioportals
I’ve been working towards this album for the past 6 years now (long story), so I’m stoked to finally put it out into the world. A lot of the sounds and concepts come from all sorts of inspirations and experiences in my life, from growing up in a small town in North Carolina, skating and traveling in my 20’s, settling down in south florida, and becoming a father.
Major shout out to my good friend Dean Antoniou, (I’d tag him but he isn’t on IG). When I first came to Florida like 13 years ago, he was one of the first filmers I started filming and skating with, so you might have seen clips of me that he’s filmed before. But he is also an incredibly knowledgeable musician who has played a big part in supporting me in my music, being a mentor, pushing me to do my best work and answering any questions I’ve had about technical music theory things. Making music can be very exhausting and isolating, so it’s a privilege to have friends around you to support and help you grow. Crazy how things come full circle. Skateboarding is the sickest community.
