I quit my job during a pandemic.

Like everyone, 2020 wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be. I made the move from my 9-5 job to self-employment in March. Despite it being a weird time to make this adjustment, I have been lucky enough to work with some awesome people, and start new projects that I have always wanted to work on.

Here’s what I have been up to the last 7 months.
➡️ Helped local restaurants get online to accommodate delivery & takeout business
➡️ Started social media management with my partner @dylanholton (who also took this pic - check him out)
➡️ Built a profitable Amazon business
➡️ Sourced, designed & developed my first private label product

There have certainly been days that not seeing the light at the end of the Covid 19 tunnel has affected me negatively, but it’s important to keep your mental health a priority. Especially in these times of uncertainty. This pandemic has slowed the world down, and something that has helped me deal with this change of pace is to consciously try to enjoy the little things. Whether it is a socially distanced visit with a loved one, binging a new show on Netflix, or sipping a coffee on a beautiful fall day. Allow yourself to cherish the little moments. Life moves too fast.

A few months ago, I came across a Tik Tok video (Credit to @Nicole.cutler) that changed the course of my next few months completely.

The video was showing this really cool camera product called Paper Shoot (@papershootcamera ). Paper Shoot Camera is an eco-friendly digital camera, that takes photos like a film camera, that even has various filters built right in.

As someone that does e-commerce as a career, this product intrigued me. After searching for these cameras online, I discovered they do not sell in North America… until now!
