Standout projects making waves around the web

Not quite a fattening flapjack… not quite a “healthy bake”… just the perfect in‑between snack that hits the spot. Soft, chewy, sweet, tangy and chocolatey...perfect with a cuppa. Ingredients 150g rolled oats 2 ripe bananas (ignore that my video has one it needed two), mashed 30g butter, melted (2 tbsp) 2 heaped tbsp honey 2 heaped tablespoons Greek yoghurt 1 large egg 1 tsp vanilla extract ½ tsp baking powder 100g raspberries (fresh or frozen) 70g dark chocolate (melted for topping) Method 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan). In a bowl, mix together the two mashed bananas, melted butter, honey, yoghurt, egg and vanilla until smooth. 2. Stir in the oats and baking powder, then gently fold in the raspberries. 3. Press the mixture into your tin and bake for 22 minutes, until set and lightly golden. 4. Allow to cool then melt the dark chocolate, pour over the cooled oats and spread evenly. 5. Chill in the fridge for an hour until the chocolate has partially set (makes it easier to slice) . #breakfast #baking #easybaking #chocolaterecipes #viralfood

???? Valentine’s Night In ???? Golden, gooey Camembert topped with sweet caramelised onion, rosemary, and pistachios — served with toasted baguette. We’ve paired it with @torolocowine red, a wine we’ve loved for years (available in Aldi) . Its juicy red fruit, subtle spice balances through the richness of the cheese perfectly. It’s the wine we always reach for… and it’s an absolute bargain at under £6! A.D #valentines #love #valentinesday #redwine #delicious

I posted this a few years ago and it went very viral — over 6 million views with a comment section full of angry Italians telling me you’d never put burrata on spaghetti …I’d do it again and again and again!! Burrata Pesto Spaghetti - still one of my most cooked pasta dishes. Recipe below Serves 4 Ingredients: 1 500g packet of Spaghetti 2 cans of chopped tomatoes 1 Large White Onion 3 Cloves of Garlic 4 tablespoons of tomato puree 1 teaspoon of sugar 1 teaspoon of salt/pepper Olive Oil 2 Burratas 30g bag of fresh Basil For the Pesto: 30g bag of Basil 50g Pine Nuts About 100g of parmesan 150ml Olive Oil Juice of Half a small Lemon Season with Salt and Pepper Method: 1. First make the tomato sauce. Finely chop the garlic and onion and add to an oiled frying pan. Cook gently for 5–7 minutes until softened. 2. Add the two cans of chopped tomatoes, 4 tablespoons of tomato puree (plus half a can of water), 1 teaspoon of sugar, and season to your preference with salt and pepper. Stir well and leave to cook on a medium heat for 10–15 minutes until the sauce thickens. 3. Whilst the sauce is cooking, boil the spaghetti. 4. To make the pesto, put all of the pesto ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth. 5. Add the cooked spaghetti back into the tomato sauce and combine well. Serve with burrata on top and drizzle the pesto all over. #burrata #spaghetti #dinner #recipes #viralrecipe

All you need is: Two chicken carcasses, 1 large leek, 2 white onions, 4 carrots , 5 cloves of garlic, generous thumb sized grated ginger, generous sprinkle of turmeric and a good kosher stock (Telma or Osem brand)— my slow cooker is a large one so I fill it to the top and let it do its magic for 5 - 6h hrs on high heat. You can remove the fat layer if you wish, sometimes I dont. Serve with noodles and any scraps of chicken off the bones. #ChickenSoup #SlowCooker #Kosher #delicious #HomeCooking

Ingredients * Chicken legs (thighs or drumsticks) * 2 cups basmati rice * 1 large onion chopped * 4 cloves garlic chopped * ½ tsp ground turmeric. * Any spice mix I use a Middle Eastern blend * Salt and black pepper, to taste * 4 cups hot chicken stock * 2 tbsp olive oil To serve • Chopped Fresh parsley • Pomegranate seeds Method 1. Preheat the oven to 200C 2. In a large oven-safe pot or casserole dish, add the rice, onion, garlic. Pour in the hot chicken stock and sprinkle of turmeric and stir. 3. Lay the chicken pieces directly on top of the rice. Season the chicken with olive oil then salt and pepper and any spice mix blend it into the skin and underneath skin. 4. Cover tightly using parchment paper scrunched up (wet with water so it easily bends) then put foil on top to seal. Cook for 45 mins. 5. Remove the covers and return to the oven for 12-15 minutes turning heat up to 220 to brown the chicken. 6. Serve with fresh parsley and pomegranate seeds #homecooking #onepotmeals #chickenandrice #familydinner
