Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan). 2. Heat oil in a hob-to-oven dish. Brown the steak on all sides. 3. Add onions, carrots, and thyme. Cook until softened. 4. Stir in flour, then pour in the beef stock. Mix well. 5. Cover and bake for 1 hour. 6. Microwave Nanna Tate mash as per pack instructions. 7. Spread mash over the hot pot, drizzle with olive oil, and grill for 3 mins until golden or place it back in the oven on 220 for 3-5 mins. 8. Scatter with fresh parsley and serve! #NannaTate #SpudSquad #BritishFoodFortnight #EasyRecipes #FamilyMeals #MashHacks #LancashireHotPot

After a whirlwind of after-school clubs and endless housework, there’s nothing better than sitting down to something special. We love food but sometimes don’t have time to cook from scratch, so that’s where @charliebighams comes in. Tonight, we treated ourselves to creamy Chicken Tikka Masala and Pilau Rice (picked up from Tesco!) I served it with tenderstem broccoli, naan, poppadoms, and a good dollop of mango chutney. Charlie Bigham’s is always my go-to, as the dishes are handmade in small batches, with fresh ingredients you’d find in your own kitchen. It was just the comfort food we needed after a busy day. #charliebighams #dinner #treatmeal #parents #foodie #indianfood #chickentikka #rice #recipes Ad
