?It's my birthday, and I'm giving myself a gift of... a dream coming true✨? I've always wanted to do a project for @transportforlondon Their design heritage - from the roundel to moquette to state of the art new trains - has always fascinated me, but each time I contacted their office they would tell me they were not commissioning any new artists? So yesterday, when I was reflecting on the year behind, I asked myself: will I be lucky to do a piece of art for TfL at some point? And the answer was: "Yes. You don't need anyone's permission to do art"? Self-isolation got me talking to myself haha ? But isn’t that great? Happy birthday to me!? And thank you guys for sticking around. ??⬇️ In a true indecisive blogger style let me ask you, 1️⃣ or 2️⃣? I chose the first picture as the main image because it is less obvious what the horse is made of - the silhouette kind of makes you look twice and explore a bit more. But the second picture has socks in it - and there's definitely something warm and homey about a pair of socks drying next to one another on a clothing line. I only wish I had been more inventive with my prop choices and went for a more colourful option ? . В стиле псевдонерешительного блогера интересуюсь у вас, 1️⃣ или 2️⃣? Я выбрала первую картинку, потому что в ней очень четко читается лошадь, и хочется рассмотреть, из чего она сделана, как снята и т.д. На второй же картинке есть носки, висящие бок о бок на бельевой веревке, и это своего рода аллюзия к размеренному быту и теплу домашнего очага. И я вот думаю, не является ли мой выбор фронтальной картинки показателем легкой усталости от размеренного быта длиной в 2020?? И как вам вообще сейчас бытовые темы - ближе, или наоборот, хочется окунуться в мир фэнтэзи и cкрыться от реальности?✨
