A more detailed lighting/breakdown as promised from my previous post. We shot all the dialogue scenes through a two way mirror so talent could see themselves while doing their make up and talk to camera at the same time. The mirror cut almost 90% of the light and had a MAJOR color shift to almost 3200k. To counter this I shot at my dual native ISO of 5120 on my @kinefinity Mavo LF Mark2 and set my white balance to 3200k. After that the two cams were matching up nicely ???? Stoked on this lighting transition! We wanted to change the mood for the reveal and make it seem darker to accentuate the practical lights on her face while still maintaining a high glam look. So to do this I dimmed down on the ring light 1 stop shifted the color to blue and left the bottom light bar daylight to leave a bit of natural skin tone up lighting her face. On top of that I changed the color of the edge lights to match the blue of the ring light and bam ???? moody reave while still looking glam. Will post more lighting set ups and content from this shoot soon!
