All jokes aside, I love meat, and especially a beautiful piece of meat! I salute those that choose, and/or are discipline enough to eliminate or reduce their red meat intake. Plant-based diets seem to be the place to be, but I just can't quite that meat life! ⠀

I have been sitting on how to post this end to a pretty big chapter in my life, but then again a new chapter to my future (whenever that may be). To say I am proud of myself is an understatement. The pressure from society that comes with the need to be married, have kids, while kicking ass in your career, oh and to have it all figured out in your mid 30s is overwhelming. And to add this virus to the mix this year is a ball of anxiety in itself. ⠀

I went into this journey embracing the unknown, and truly making a conscious effort to find joy in my many hormone shots and even embrace the tears that come along way. Dr. Klein predicted 8-13 retrieval, and 5-7 mature enough to be frozen. And he retrieved 20, and froze 11. The amount of love and satisfaction I have towards my body and @extendfertility staff is an overload of gratitude. I couldn't ask for a more amazing team of beautiful people who encouraged me along the way, and continued to build me up. So again, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!⠀

In today's world, we have allowed ourselves to put walls up and feed our insecurities with choosing not to be vulnerable. I struggled with wanting, but deep down knowing I NEEDED to share this chapter in a very public way. So to all that followed, and forwarded on to others to provide support, love and kindness THANK YOU! Ya'll are a big part of why I was able to snatch those 11 eggs. I pray that any and everyone woman that has a slight inclination she wants children down the road, to at the every least schedule an appointment to gain a more educated grasp on her fertility. It is truly the best gift you can give yourself, or hey even a friend that could use your eggs down the road. Remember there are payment plans too!⠀

I had the pleasure of starting my quarantine with him at the age of 2 months for 9 weeks straight. And man babies are ALOT of work... like a lot!!! I usually just get sporadic long weekends with my nieces and nephews. This pandemic gave me the opportunity to share with all of my little chickies for much longer. But I think parents can assure you that spending time with an infant is a true eye opener of parenthood. ⠀

I applaud all parents, and those who step up to assist in childcare! I enjoyed all the moments, even after this nugget pissed in my face, spit up milk all over me, changed messiest diapers of the most foul smell, and the sometimes the on going crying of you screaming in your head, “What do you want, what do you want?” in your Noah, Ryan Gosling voice of frustration from the Notebook. ⠀

It’s ALSO that time of year again, to travel during CNY (Chinese New Years) holiday. I usually pick an exotic place in Southeast Asia or anywhere south of the border for some good ole self discovery and growth, while embracing cultural delights in the sun. In the fashion world, majority of behind the scenes creatives and fit models take this time to travel while factories are closed for 1-3 weeks. Last year I had to put my Laos and Vietnam trip on hold. And of course, this year shall wait....⠀
