A restrained elegance in the Drawing room at Aldourie castle. Decorated with celadon blue silk walls that became the backdrop for 18th Century portraits and an antique convex mirror from our collection. The Hardwicke reproduction sofa comes into view, upholstered in bone white linen. ???? @simonuptonphotos

Only a few more days to go until our American friends arrive in London for @designdestinationlondon. We are excited to show all our new collections of lighting, furniture and fireplaces that have been developed over the last year. We have had an extraordinary start to the week showing all our designer friends our workshops and warehouse for the @designdestinationlondon. We refreshed our shop with lots of exceptional antiques for this brilliant few days, including this early 18th Century Giltwood Pier Mirror. A very rare piece, the original rectangular mirror enclosed within bevelled marginal plates, beneath a broken pediment and urn surmount, with scallop shell decoration at the base.

WAX Atelier x Jamb | Crafting Colour This year, we worked with Lola from @wax_atelier to create custom tapered candles in two new colours: Jasper Red & Ivory. These candles were designed to enhance the rich tones of our new Scipio candlestick collection, made from marble remnants of our chimneypieces in the finest Italian marbles To create the harmony of these pieces WAX Atelier worked with us experimenting with different hues, creating multiple samples until we found the perfect match. The Scipio candlesticks and a pair of beeswax tapered candles in Jasper Red or Ivory will be available online and in Jamb’s Pimlico shop from 19th January 2026. ???? @horwoodphoto @wax_atelier

A Pair of 18th Century Irish Stone Lions The statues possess a striking muscularity and poise. Symbolising wealth, power, and dynastic success, these lions have worn beautifully, taking on an excellent surface rich with age and lichen. Mounted on simple stone slabs, front paw resting on a sphere. From a private residence in Ireland. Perhaps based on Joseph Wilton’s interpretation of the Medici Lion, at Kedleston Hall, Derbyshire.
