Cardio, in my opinion, is “the icing on the cake” that aids in increasing potential weight loss. Weight loss is all about nutrition. You do not need to do 2 hours on the treadmill 6x a week. You should not be eating only 1200 calories. Fuel your body with proper nutrients and eat plenty of them. Put yourself in a small deficit for a few months. Give your body time, sleep, and water--then watch your body transform. It's really that easy.. Not sold yet? There’s one word that’ll never sit right with me, as a Health and Fitness Coach. Diet ???? How many of you may have struggled to maintain your diet during thanksgiving last week? When in reality you shouldn’t have to.. The word “diet” has been chewed up and spit out by society over decades. People look at it as this big, ????????????????????, intimidating thing when in reality, all a diet really is, is a regulated consumption of food in order to lose weight. In todays society, the word is closely associated with so much negativity, struggle and failure which is wrong. The perception of what a diet should be, is abused. The only people who should really be “dieting” are athletes (performance based), and people with health/medical restrictions. We need to get our society back to normalizing what diet really means. Not this black and white, all or nothing mentality that is attached to dieting now a days How we fix that is creating opportunities for people to take the initiative within their own health. That passes to their their kids’ health, and so on. To teach and educate how to properly eat and understand food. Doing so unlocks a whole new perspective and respect for your health, how you look and most importantly the confidence you feel within yourself. That’s what we do through our ???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ????????????????????????. With Christmas and New Year’s just around the corner, you don’t have to sacrifice your “diet” again for the holidays and feel guilty about it. You do however have to take that step to learn and grow. One of the biggest reasons why I was so gravitated towards you when we first met, was the drive, passion and hard work you had instilled within yourself. Now it’s all paying off. Seeing you start your journey as a Nurse Practitioner fills my heart with so much joy. I know there were so many times throughout school and your journey, to this point when it could have been wayyy easier to just say “fuck this”, but you didn’t. Nobody will every know how hard you truly worked for this.. between working full time as an RN, being a full time student, all while going through clinicals, bodybuilding ventures, and everything else this crazy life throws at you. You are literally a superhero in my eyes and I can honestly say, I don’t think myself nor the majority of other people could have done what you have accomplished. You charged on and we can now officially say it - you’ve MADE IT! ???????? ???????? ???????????? ????????????????????????????????. I know how amazing you’re going to do and how many hearts and minds you are going to touch, each and every day. Proud is an understatement! ????

This is why you create goals… It’s really not about the goals. Really. I mean, you need the goals. You have to have them because they’ll drive you, they’ll push you, they’ll pull you, they’ll motivate you - but it’s never about the goals. It’s about who you become on your way to the goals and happiness doesn’t come from the goals. Happiness comes from your growth and your progress. So it’s critical that you create goals for yourself because it’s more than just an end game, it’s a life altering opportunity some will never take the leap to experience. This might be your sign, that you need a kickstart! You just have to decide it’s time to evolve into something more. All you have to do is comment “evolve”

Just a friendly reminder. Everybody you see on social media is struggling with something. And I mean, EVERYBODY. Financial burdens Business/work complications Stress, Anxiety, Depression Family/Relationship issues Medical/health problems The list goes on.. Social media is a great resource for education, knowledge, motivation and even success, however, keep in mind that it is also everybody’s “highlight reel” of life. Just because they show the good, doesn’t mean they aren’t enduring the bad through it. Before you judge someone, or bring negativity into the spotlight, know this - Some people who look up to others might not realize that their idol or inspiration is actually worse off than the person “fan girling”. Never compare yourself to what others may perspectively have. So, I leave you with this statement.. Being positive doesn't mean ignoring the negative. Being positive means overcoming the negative. There's a big difference between the two. Social media is already full of so much hate, disgusting behaviors and negativity. Embrace the latter and focus on spreading love, happiness and positivity. That’s the key to truly being in control.

75 ???????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????????????????????? The thing is, between these two photos, my calories never dropped.. Not once. In fact, my calories at the end of this body recomp were higher than when I started. Yup, that’s right, I’m eating more food than in the first photo… yet I’m significantly leaner. ????????????’???? ???????????????????? ???????????????? ????????????????????... ❌You have to cut carbs to lose weight. ???????????????? ❌You need to kill yourself through cardio. ???????????????? ❌You have to eat only chicken and broccoli or clean food. ???????????????? ❌You need 3 hours in the gym to see results. ???????????????? All you need is the proper guidance, some accountability, and consistency. That’s it! Look at it this way.. Would you rather spend a ???????????????????? period of time in your life learning how to finally build the body you love all while still being able to incorporate amazing foods, alcohol, and a lifestyle you enjoy? Or Spend a ???????????????????????????????? constantly undoing the destruction you’ve inflicted on your body, unhappy/feeling like you’re in the slumps or lethargic with no energy, and living with minimal confidence? Tasked with the right knowledge, the investment in yourself, and through consistency, you will yield a lifetime of bliss. One and done, as I like to say!
