So, I have finally got around to starting some of my #interiordecor that you requested in the poll. I will be posting the images from the shoot I did with the @metro.co.uk - but I had some on my phone I thought I would share ? First up, my master bedroom - so this room is a L Shaped Room - and had lots of thinking behind it to fit 2x triple wardrobes, chest of draws , 2 bedside cabinets and the bed ! But I managed to fit it all in with a huge space in the middle of the room. I used the smallest part of the L for the bed, the cabinets and bed fit perfectly! I was very lucky! As thought I may have to take part of the skirting off! Now for the inspiration, I absolutely love mid century in general , but for the bedroom , I wanted some sort of 50s exotic retreat - I wanted to wake up and feel like I was in a quirky hotel abroad ... all my furniture was purchased second hand . The only thing that wasn’t was the bed, which I’ve had for a while now and was @ikeauk - I used vintage suitcases on both wardrobes - creating extra space for storage - I keep all my bedding and space pillows etc. Freeing up more space for all my bloody clothes! I decided to go with mustard and red accents ... normally I wouldn’t do green and red as it screams Christmas ! But with my vintage propaganda poster I purchased in a flea market in Shanghai China ?? being red, and my pinup 50s lamp shade being red , it made sense and felt more in keeping with the retro resort feel. For the paint and wallpaper - I decided to look for second hand spare left over rolls for sale and found 2 rolls that matched for £2 a roll - and it was the perfect amount for the feature wall. “I’ve got some T for you!” So, first up, go make yourself a nice cup of Tea... I want to talk about #bodydysmenorrhea , for years I have suffered with an actual hate for the way I look. From serious body dysmenorrhea to eating disorders later leading to #nonalcholicliverdisease , all my body issues have basically been caused by what others had to say about me.... I had a serious problem that effected most of my teens and adult life caused by others opinions about the way I looked ... I struggled hard with this for years.... allowing theses opinions from nasty unhappy people ... let’s be real..... what a waste of time I’ve spent worrying and damaging my body in the attempt to please others over the 35 years I’ve been alive ... this is my body, it’s the only one I’ll ever own, it’s the most precious thing I will own. We need to stop this utter Bullsh*t way of thinking, society has mapped out what we should think is beautiful and what a “perfect” body looks like .... I don’t give a flying F**k what anyone thinks of my body, I blooming love it ... So rather than listening to the negative opinions of fools, I’m going to tell you what I LOVE about my body! 1. I have the best hair - soz, it’s true! 2. I have big broad shoulders! 3. My legs are sexy AF! 4. Love my birthmark on my leg! 5. I have great feet for a man! 6. My bum is lovely! 7. Love my ginger beard! 8. My freckled shoulders and nose! 9. My very expressive eyes! 10. My winning personality and charm haha ? So, rather than picking out the bits you hate on yourself or others, how about we start picking out the bits WE LOVE ❤️ P.S. Screw what people think of you, they are either Unhappy, hate themselves or Jealous ... so.... I ain’t got time for that... TAG SOMEONE WHO NEEDS TO HEAR THIS TODAY!!!!
