Blessings guys, let me take a moment to introduce myself to you all. I’m kareema co-owner of livity, also the one that takes the food pics. I’m the youngest of us both born 27 minutes after kaleema. I have worked as a chef since 17 in some of London top restaurants, which pretty much was the beginning of the journey, I learnt a lot and believe without this experience Livity would not be here today!!! Anyway throughout my career the last 4 years I become unhappy within my profession the hours become ever more demanding. I began to experience chronic pain which leads to becoming vegan. I continued through but it becomes more and more of a battle to find motivation. Chronic illness lead to me taking a lot of time off work and ended with me walking out mid-shift. ( not because I wanted to but because I needed to ) Out of work, and in a very bad place mentally, decisions needed to be made. Livity came into fruition!!! Mother to the amazing, handsome prince Naheem. Just like kareema iv worked as a chef from the age of 17 in some amazing places. The only difference is I became a mother at 18. My main goal is to show people especially young mothers. Anything is possible. Through determination and perseverance, you can achieve anything. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
