Fiiiinally got around to checking out some photos from early this year. Working from home means the last thing I want to do is spend time on my computer on the weekend too, but I put in a couple of hours yesterday for thr first time in a long time.

This was taken at one of my fave beaches - Number One Beach at Seal Rocks. There was a huge piece of driftwood washed up (the trunk of a tree!) and it had some really interesting features ans textures. I'll post some more from here in the coming weeks.

We were supposed to be skiing this weekend, but if I can't be skiing, at least I was able to indulge in a little forest bathing. I'd not done this hike in many years and had forgotten how utterly beautiful it is. So very lucky to have places like this nearby to explore during COVID lock down.

I think a large part of their beauty is their relative rarity in the wild and their short blooming season. Please please please only take photos of these beauties when you see them.
