HE WON!! MYMUZZ!!! He is talented, disciplined, committed and consistent with an EQ and IQ to match. I have witnessed this “man’s of mine” record a voice reel in one take which included 4 different deliveries and 12 accents. Today I Celebrate this recognition of @murraybtodd whom has turned passion into purpose and carries a spirit of generosity to not only teach, but to still be the student. He still has a childlike excitement when he records. ????↔️☺️
I love you. What a miracle this life is with you in it. ????????????????
Thank you to @sinemivuyom for having created this platform. What an evening it was engaging with young, new and enthusiastic talent in a room shared with legends.

This is in response to so many unkind and ignorant statements specifically about KhoiSan and Coloured history on social media. This is not an emotional response, instead very clear.
I sat with historians and linguists for months working on a project and had access to archival history of the southern most tip of Africa dating back to the 1400’s . Stories not told in our history books. Oral history.
There was very little peace when tribes from central Africa moved down. This was a time even before the colonisers came. Africa battled itself before anyone else did. The tribes that are still paying are the true fathers of this part of the continent.
Call them, call us what you like, but we even battled each other at times.
I say, let us not lose our grace by dictating to others what they know their identity to be.
I am a South African.
My history take me as far back as the Gorachouqua and the Cochoqua clans.
Khoi clans and mixed race groups settled in Kat River. What do we think happened there?
Goringhaiconas had the likes of Autshumato ( you would know him as Harry die Strandloper) Doman and Krotoa who were all linguists.
The San people’s first encounters were with Barthomew Dias and Vasco da Gama.
This is before any arrivals at the Cape.
So, I am asking to please reserve comments that are ill informed, biased and offensive.
Allow people to know who they are and if you know who you are, you should not be threatened by others owning their ancetry.
The sentiment I am feeling in this country, is that coloured people have no indigenous ancestry and are desperate to belong.
I am not what people think that melting pot should look like, but we are citizens of the planet and proudly African.
Stop with the name calling.
And this is for everyone on this thread.
We have enough to worry about.
The oldest person in my house hold was born in 1896, then 1904, 1905 and 1910. My oral history is clear besides all the months I dedicated to learning.
I have KhoiSan, Malay, German, French and Dutch descent running through my veins. That’s DNA tested, not that I needed it.
We look like the future.
Peace ✨????
