Let the relaxing vacation begin ???????? #nowthatssarcasm Everyone knows when you go on a vacation with kids it’s not really a vacation. For me I’m constantly paranoid about one of them getting hurt, or if they’re going to eat something ‘off’ and get sick. But I recently read a really cool quote that said ‘If you choose NOT to travel with your kids because you think they’ll never remember it, that’s like choosing NOT to read books to them because they’ll never remember the stories’. That totally struck me. So for all the tricky bits that are included with travelling as a family I think it’s 100% worth it - even if my book and orange slush gets dowsed in chorine pool water ???????? Also, I’ll be posting daily in stories the multitude of antics that I’m sure will occur over the next few weeks. Let the games begin! ????

Today marks a week since we packed up the fam, headed to the mountains and ‘climbed’ the ever changing conversations surrounding social media. The platform that was on everyone’s lips was none other than @Instagram and I was honoured to teach a session on how to be a ‘healthy content creator’. I tackled subjects like ‘how to be cleverly ubiquitous‘, ‘ thriving with what you have - (a following included)‘ and ‘how to post quality versus quantity’ - how many of us have found ourselves overwhelmed and ‘tapping’ through stories... The experience was mind blowing and the people from @socality were even better. A true sense of community was created. Something I knew down deep I had been missing on IG and in turn was finding that I was pulling away from because of that reason. So tell me - what do you think a healthy creator is? Is it caring less about numbers? Is it sharing what you want to post versus what you KNOW will get more eyeballs? I’d love to keep this conversation rolling and especially after hearing the alarming new stats about anxiety, depression and suicide with regards to IG users and creators.
