First off thankful for @cassyroberts for drawing on my photo! Shes so flipping talented!

Over the past couple weeks life has been constantly changing day to day and being in a foreign country while the whole world exploded was for sure not something I was planning on, but was it ever a sure sign of Gods protection and faithfulness. Trusting in Him day to day with absolutely everything was something that truly became a reality and was such a great reminder of Gods power.
I’ve been thinking lots on this verse recently and how thankful I am for the companionship of those around me who are “Pursuing righteous living”. Feeling thankful, and I know God is moving and doing big things even amongst the chaos.
Have hope! Feel loved! Know that God is for you!

We’re engaged...

Back in 2015 I sat amongst 200+ other young people @muskokawoods for the first day of summer where Chris (the camp director at the time) stood on the stage explaining how this was going to be the best summer of our lives, we’d make life long friendships, and even maybe one day meet our future wife... little did I know that the woman I’d end up marrying was sitting in the same room.

I’m beyond thankful to God for the things He’s been teaching me in the past several months as I work through the thought process of becoming the man who’s going to put Cassy first and treat her like the Queen we all know she is for the rest of her life! So thankful for this young woman who’s absolutely changed my life and my outlook on it.

Thank you to everyone who’s come along side us and invested in us over the past two years. Your impact does not go unnoticed as we have spent the weekend thinking of each of you and the roll you’ve played in our relationship.

I’m especially thankful for the Roberts family, Mr. And Mrs. to be specific, as they’ve entrusted me with taking care of their most prized possession. I promise you Greg I’ll take the best care of her and there will be monthly instalments into my TFSA from here on out.
