Heaven just gained one very special ‘Angel’. My sweet & lovable ‘Lou’: I’m missing you already dear one. Your jokes-Your stories-your kindness to people and animals-will always stay with me. Choices we get to make! Encouraging you to come join the great team at @eatthechange for the final countdown to #theincrediblechallenge. Make a difference and show support for Mother Earth month-Nothing political. Just making wise choices in: -Alternative ways to choose what we eat -Alternative ways to how we repurpose -How we think about what we ‘need ‘vs. what we ‘want’. (and how that affects you, your environment, your wallet, & the future generation). My personal alternatives? -Choosing a solid/amazing water bottle over plastic -Thanks @4ocean (This solid water bottle keeps things hot/cold as needed. AND they pick up a TON of ocean waste for each bottle sold!) -Drinking @ripplefoods -Oat milk is such a better alternative -less calories and tastes dee-licious! -Snacking on satisfying goodness with the @EatTheChange snacks-Mushroom jerky-(So many good flavored-healthier snacks for you and takes away the craving for eating something sweet!). So make a difference for yourself-the way you view your alternative choices-not just this month, not just for you, but for others you can be an example for. Dear Chopstixx, I’m sorry this is a tardy message-but I’ve been so busy making sure your Mom and Dad are kept busy-‘cause they are still missing you so much.. I wasn’t sure if they would be ready to open their hearts like you said they would.-but they have! I’ve been welcomed with open arms and as you know-I needed their love and care so badly. You know I didn’t have a great start in life. I’m certain you must have whispered in their ears to look beyond the imperfections of a misfit like me. I’m doing my best to fill your paws-but make no mistake-There will never be another Chopstixx-ever. I’ve never had a real home, so I’m going to fill up this new home of mine with lots & lots of LOVE-Just like you did for them! Sometimes life sends us opportunities that we don’t think we’re ready for and we look away because ‘timing’ isn’t perfect. For the past 2 years I’ve finally opened and embraced a perfect change-a perfect transition. I secretly wanted more growth and work internationally like I had with my previous work. I put myself to task to reach that goal with baby steps and I made it a focus and had a contract w/ myself to make that vision come true. I’m so grateful to now be aligned with several projects abroad: Paris, London, Tokyo, Singapore and Toronto. The message here is simple but I know, transition can be difficult: So here’s my 2 cents: Take chances-Seek advice-Envision and be that vision you see and want for your goals and dreams. Life is way too short to do the ‘woulda-coulda-shoulda’ (My Gramma’s favorite quote). No one comes to you with a silver platter and note telling you that they have your ‘dream come true’ opportunity.... This photo is proof that going after what you envision WILL happen—It all starts with that first ‘little’ step...and that first step is believing in YOU!
