I can’t find the quote now and I thought I had saved one by brad Wilcox (I think). But I still thought the message was important to share. He talked about how the egg is apart of the Easter celebration because it is whole, just as Christ is. And how we decorate them and make them better, just as Christ does to and for us. I wish I could find it but the message has stayed in my heart over the last couple weeks. What an amazing way to remind our kids and ourselves of something so simple. By decorating eggs we can remember that Christ makes us better. He helps us improve. I loved the idea of using that visual to help our kids understand who our savior really truly is.
