5 years of our methods for a life changing transformation!! Day of eating on my maintenance phase ???? I’ve upped my calories since doing my 12 weeks cut & Hawaii holiday. I was going to do a mini cut before Bali in 2 weeks but decided against it. I’m happy with my strength and muscle gains…and maintenance at this year is a great place to sit! ???????????????? If you wanted any recipes from this vid let me know!! ???? “Lauren, why do you deadlift barefoot?” A question I get asked all the time. So let’s discuss ⬇️⬇️⬇️???? Firstly, stop deadlifting in running shoes! Running shoes are soft and cushioned. They are designed to absorb impact when you are running/walking. The soles are pillowy soft which impacts your power output. You cannot drive hard into the floor and explode up. Running shoes are great for running but you sink into the shoe. This is the opposite to what we want when lifting. Would you want to bounce a ball off a hard surface or mud? Would you want to deadlift on soft grass? The same principle applies here. When you are deadlifting you want a stable hard surface so opting for a shoe with a solid flat base is preferred. It means you can channel all your energy into lifting the most amount of weight, rather than trying to keep your ankles stable. I like converse as this option. I personally prefer to deadlift barefoot. It provides direct connection to the floor, maximises force transfer and decreases range of motion. ???????? If your goal is to lift as heavy as possible…then these little things matter. I’m not telling everyone to go out and buy a new pair of shoes - but just be mindful if strength training is a big focus for you. ????????

“Cellulite Killer” workouts ???????????????? 
Let’s be clear…you can’t kill cellulite.
You can’t spot reduce it, train it away, or magically erase it with a few exercises. The problem with clickbait workouts like this is that it’s misleading!!!!! Prying on women’s insecurities. Cellulite is completely normal…around 80–90% of women have it.
No matter your size, shape, age, or fitness level…even elite athletes have cellulite. 
Some people are just more predisposed to it than others, and that’s okay. As women, we need to work on normalising it instead of hiding it. 
We are human…our skin is textured, marked, lived-in.
Stretch marks, cellulite, little lumps and bumps…they all tell your story. Instead of looking in the mirror and picking out “flaws” start celebrating all that you are. ???? 
If you’ve been showing up, training hard, working on your goals…be proud of that. 
Confidence doesn’t come from being flawless….it comes from owning who you are. ❤️✨
