January 16, 2016: The first time Mario messaged me on twitter asking for my number. *two weeks later* I cut all ties because our first date didn’t happen. Told him I didn’t have time for his games. He claimed it was a misunderstanding and got the time wrong, but I didn’t wanna hear it. April 1, 2016: He messaged me saying “am I allowed to text you again…” after tweeting back and forth a couple times. I let him know we’d only be friends because he had his chance and blew it. That clearly didn’t last ???? we became inseparable from that day forward. August 3, 2019: The day he proposed ???? June 19, 2020: We closed on our first home ???? January 4, 2021: We added a cute 4 legged member to our family ???? June 22, 2021: FINALLY booked our wedding venue ???? September 2, 2022: We will be MARRIED!!! 294 days from today ???? Moral of the story: Sometimes people deserve a second chance. NOT ALWAYS because it’s very circumstantial lol. I guess things just have a funny way of working out the way they’re meant to. Today it dawned on me that this time last year I was coming home to a dark, empty house every day. Considering it’s pitch black by 6pm ???? and we all know Mario works late daily because I feel like I talk about it every 5 seconds lmao. Now… I still come home to a dark house but it’s not empty anymore. I have this ball of joy to come home to LOL. Ohhhh Jade and her constant mouthiness ???? I know I joke about her a lot and call her a brat, demon, chuckie, thiccums, and basically everything under the sun. But she really is my little best friend. Even though she gives me a run for my money and tests my patience on the daily ???? I can’t imagine not having this high energy little pittie in our house. It’s so weird to think that I would come home and just be all by myself. What… did I… even do with my time? Lmao. Anyone else randomly think back to before they had their pets?
