Ad. ✨ An evening ritual at home with @kahtequilaofficial ✨ As the day slows down, I like to create a small ritual: dim lights, candles, and a KAH Tequila cocktail shared with my partner. ???? Rooted in Mesoamerican mysticism, KAH means “life” in the ancient Mayan language. The hand-painted skull bottle celebrates Mexican art and craftsmanship, inspired by Día de los Muertos, a 3,000-year-old celebration to remember the loved ones who have passed. ????️ To complement the rich notes of chocolate, tobacco and coffee of the Añejo expression, I made a hybrid cocktail, something between a classic Old Fashioned and a Tequila Negroni, also known as Rosita. I named it ‘Crimson Agave’ to highlight its deep, red colour, which is also a symbol of life in #DiaDeLosMuertos celebrations. The cocktail is bittersweet, elevated by the juicy notes of black cherry and a hint of cocoa. ???????? Crimson Agave Recipe ???? 50ml Kah Añejo ???? 15ml Red Bitter Aperitif ???? 5-10ml Cherry Syrup (you can use the syrup from a maraschino cherry jar) ???? 2 dashes cocoa bitters Add all ingredients in a stirring glass with a lot of ice, stir until the exterior of the glass is frosty, strain and serve on a rocks glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with a cherry.
