Meet @antonia_leanne, a student in Berlin who loves slow mornings, sushi and the fantasy series ‘Sanderson Stormlight Archives’ (i had to google them.) ?? Also a long - time customer so i reached out to ask if she’d be the first of a new blog feature ‘Ordinary Days in L&C’ - my hope is that though this mini series, we can share some inspiration into the normal types of things that make us tick on our ordinary days - (cos there are plenty of them these days). 2015, a few months into whatever L&C was becoming, Jon and I went Paris for a few days. I’d designed some silver jewellery (not launched yet) and we ended up shooting these on our phones against the white wall in the Airbnb we were staying at.

Truth be told, we didn’t know what we were doing or where this was going; totally just sniffing out what felt good and hopefully what looked alright, and tbh, sometimes I still feel this way. ?? ?️ Think I’ve just learnt to accept that’s part of this type of work for me. Anyway, that was such a fun trip. Still remember the taste of the red on our first night... ?

Comforting classics for a rainy days with nowhere to go. ?✨

Our Alberta chain + bracelet celebrates the revival of the old Albert chain (named after Prince Albert- a pocket watch was held in place by a chain + a T-bar that tucked into a buttonhole of a waistcoat.) True story. I’d never owned a chair + dressing table up until last year. Def a ‘slap some makeup on the go’ type of girl so why get one? Anyway, now, (post dressing table life) there’s a moment, a veryyyy brief moment everyday when I apply faceoil + my jewels that’s become a mini ritual I didn’t know I needed ✌?? tell me.. have you been surprised by any new creature comforts recently? We all love to be nosey about the things others find joy in.. ?
