One of our most loved yarns, now comes in blended colours!
Snefnug, one of our most popular yarns in the shop, has added a sister collection of colours called Watercolour. Beautiful Snowflake yarn from CaMaRose in Denmark. Discover the serene beauty of @camarosedk Snefnug Watercolour, a sumptuous yarn spun from premium natural fibres. Made of a perfect spin of 55% baby alpaca, 35% organic cotton and 10% extra fine merino wool
Its signature watercolour effect emerges from thoughtfully blended tones that flow seamlessly together, evoking nature’s most tranquil moments—misty forests, soft dawn light, weathered stone, and moonlit skies. Each colourway weaves warm and cool hues in perfect balance, creating a gentle visual rhythm that feels organic and alive. From dusty sage and earthy ochre to muted rose and cool slate, every shade carries subtle depth and warmth. So beautiful! In our London + online shop.

“A Dictionary of Colour Combinations” (配色辞典, Haishoku Jiten) is a celebrated Japanese visual reference book by Sanzo Wada (和田三造, 1883–1967), the influential artist, teacher, costume and kimono designer, and pioneer of colour research in early-20th-century Japan. Originally published in the 1930s as a six-volume work documenting colour harmonies, it was reprinted in a condensed edition in 2010 and presents 348 carefully curated colour combinations drawn from Japanese aesthetics and modern design, offering timeless palettes for designers, artists, and creatives. The book not only showcases inspiring pairings of hues but also reflects Wada’s foundational role in establishing contemporary Japanese colour theory and research.
Elegant, practical, and endlessly browsable, this pocket sized book is great resource for any creative or craftsperson.
We have both volumes, one and two, in stock now. They’re handy and super lovely.
