I know I am super cliche when it comes to this city, but whatever. I love Paris! It has a special place in my heart. It’s where I’ve grown the most as a person in the last year. It’s where I discovered new things and also realized what I like and don’t like. ⠀

Last year I went on my first solo international trip. Do you remember? I came here not knowing a single soul and pushed myself to meet new people. ⠀

I now visit Paris and it kind of feels like home (deep down I wish it was 😅). I feel so grateful that I can come back and reconnect with those that I have met. Genuine people that share my interests and we geek about it. ⠀

How you see me laughing in this photo is how I pretty much spent the whole day 😅🤣. OMG did I laugh today 🙈. From silliness, jokes and awkwardness to laughing because me and a handful of people were waiting for about 15-20 mins inside the train without realizing it would no longer continue its route. It was such a mundane and “ugh” moment that I just had to laugh 🤷‍♀️.

We were all casually waiting until we realized something is up. Thankfully, I was just one stop away! I walked it out — no big deal.

I am a firm believer that unplanned moments are the best ones. If I had to summarize my Paris trip with a quote, that for sure would be it.

Here’s a quick story. Just the other I had a written schedule of my day with all my activities and meetings. Well, guess what!? Most plans fell through.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I decided to take up an invitation to go out and eat a late breakfast and it turned out being a long day full of events and meeting new people. Honestly, one of the highlights of the trip.

Sometimes a simple yes lead to so many amazing experiences.

I’ve been retrospecting a bit during this trip. From September 2018 to now a lot has changed. Most of it because I’ve put myself out there and decided to take a chance.
