4am thoughts I love seeing the beauty in things/places/people and bringing that beauty to life in the form of art. It brings me so much joy. I love trying different mediums of art - paint, graphite pencils, pen, charcoal, photography, graphic design etc. The idea of creating something with my hands is so fulfilling to me. Sometimes I wonder to myself why I didn’t pursue my passion in design. But I’ve learnt that we can always find something to be grateful for. I’m thankful to be pursuing something I’m interesting in, thankful for the opportunities I’ve received. Reflecting on the past year, I’ve come a long way. Though I may fail at times I remind myself that growth isn’t linear. I am unapologetically me, comfortable in my imperfections, grateful and so blessed to be here.

One of my favourite photos on exchange - we were at Mont Blanc, it was my first time seeing snow-covered mountains. It was freezing -1 degrees to be exact, I’m grateful to have experienced this beauty. This past year, my main focus was to work on my self-worth. Though there were moments of self-doubt, I now know that I am good enough. I am comfortable in my own skin. I am in control of my emotions and my thoughts. I am worthy of love. I’d like to continue working on myself, getting stronger - mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually. I’d like to work on my goals, what I’d like to accomplish in the next year. Maybe I’ll start a business or connect with more people, maybe I’ll take up a new challenge/hobby or save a large amount of money for my future - the possibilities are endless and I’m excited. I’d also like to work on being a better person in general - a better daughter, sister, family member, friend. There are many things I’d like to accomplish and I can’t wait for 2020.
