When we were younger, Chinese New Year was all about the red packets. As we grow older, i realised that what truly matters isn’t the money, it’s seeing the dining table filled with our loved ones, every seat taken, no one missing. 这新年，我差一点就回不了???? Down with a bad eye infection 2 days before CNY eve, felt like things weren’t very right, went to the doctor & got referred to A&E. Had to cut short my trip, and i almost have to go back on Day 1 of CNY. I told the doctor that i’ll just bear with the inconvenience & pain, but i’ll be back on Thursday first thing first. Every new year is different. Yes there’ll always be funny questions, but i appreciate these noises than a quiet reunion. Missing my grandfather (it’s the 2nd year) and im just glad i get to spend some time with my grandma, family, cousins, aunties and uncles ❤️???? Hope everyone had a great break ????????

“You look familiar.” I’ve been hearing that a lot again lately. Can’t believe it’s been 10 years. 2016 was the year I first put myself out there, on social media, on YouTube, going for trips, danced till i cry and into the uncomfortable process of getting to know myself. I was driven by curiosity, insecurity, and, if I’m being honest, a need to prove someone wrong. Somewhere along the way, I got lost. I grew frustrated. I started hating on things, on situations, sometimes even on myself. I think our 20s are meant for that: figuring out who we are, what we like, what we don’t. And sometimes, in the middle of it all, we lose ourselves. Confidence wavers. I struggled a lot with my image: how I looked, how I was perceived, and whether I was “enough.” Peer pressure creeps in, and we start chasing versions of ourselves that were never meant to last. And that’s okay. Everyone’s timeline is different. Getting lost is part of growing up. The only thing we shouldn’t ever lose is our moral compass. Looking back, do I regret the path I took? No, because every lesson was necessary. Every mistake, every process, shaped who I am today and what I stand for. All those journeys and stepping stones matter even more now, because they taught me my limits, my strengths, and my weaknesses. More importantly, they taught me how to face them and how to work through them with whatever I have. Moral of the story: Everyone’s journey is different. Be patient. Be kind to yourself. Things have a way of working out the way they’re meant to. Do I know what the future holds? No. But I’ll take it, one step at a time. ????????

My last stage ???? an emotional one ???? Not everything was perfect. Friendships, timing, even moments on stage. There are things I wish I had done better.
