Skincare Sundays????????‍♀️ // I’m not an influencer, I’m easily influenced. All I do is buy random shite I see go viral on TikTok and then cry about it after when it’s rubbish lmao. But two things that have 100% been worth the hype for me are: •The @glowrecipe pore tight toner. I always switch skincare products up but this is one thing I’ve used consistently for the past year and a half and it is as amazing as everyone says. If you want plump, glowy glass skin then this is the one product you need. If you check my skin highlights I’ve spoken about why this is so different to any other toner I’ve used and why it’s a must. Not an ad, I genuinely love it. If you dislike fragrance in skincare though this isn’t for you, it has quite a strong watermelony smell. •A gua sha. I use the rose quartz one from @whitelotus_beauty at @cultbeauty. I bought this because of TikTok hype but then also @zahratf had been raving about hers for so long that I had to get it. And I’m so glad I did. I have chronic sinusitis (plus I eat criminal levels of salt) so my face is constantly puffy and using this has made the biggest difference. When I use it around my nose I can literally hear my sinuses draining and the pressure getting less and it’s the most satisfying thing ever. My whole face looks so much tighter and pulled up and I’m so happy I started using it. Would definitely recommend. #glowrecipe #guasha #skincare

All that remains of the Salahiya family home in East Jerusalem is a fridge door with family photos, after Israeli forces razed it to the ground overnight. When they came to demolish it on Monday, protestors, journalists and gawking diplomats had gathered outside, so they left. Instead they snuck back at 3am like thieves in the night to finish the job. Because when you break international law and commit war crimes you have to use the cover of darkness.  • Breaking into someone’s home and throwing them out onto the street on a freezing cold, rainy winters night. Beating up and arresting them before demolishing their house. And then the worst part, playing victim and making the people they’ve just rendered homeless out to be the bad guys. No wait, the worst part is that the Salahiya family will likely be billed for the destruction of their home. Because if Palestinian families refuse to destroy their own properties, the Israeli state charges them a demolition fee to do it for them. They make Palestinian families pay for the “cost of demolition”, including bulldozer fees and subsequent clean up of rubble. Imagine that, having to literally pay money to have your own home and belongings destroyed? It’s unimaginable cruelty. • And then the rest of the world is too scared to speak up because they’re worried they’ll be called anti-semitic. Opposing ethnic cleansing (that we are all watching unfold in real time on our phones) is not anti-semitic. This is ethnic cleansing. It’s state-sponsored apartheid. Everyone can see what is happening but no one wants to do anything about it. Western governments that preach about human rights all day long stand back and “bear witness” to Israel’s crimes but don’t want to intervene. They “urge” Israel to do the right thing when it’s sanctions and threats of war for everyone else. What’s the point in teaching us about this stuff decades later in history class and then letting it happen in the present day? If you swipe to the end, that last tweet sums it up for me. And while regular folk like us might not be able to do much, we all have a voice and the least we can do is share what is happening. #SaveSheikhJarrah #FreePalestine

#ootd // My only NY resolution was to paint the door behind me. Painted one 6 months ago (swipe) got bored and left the second one. Fully confident it’ll get done before 2023.
