A long time ago I trained really hard to be on the cover of Men’s Health Asia. It was a defining point for me to create a balanced lifestyle, when I went from… never paying attention to what I ate… to eating fairly healthy during the week and cheating on weekends.

Working out has also become more than just a phase but part of my daily routine. It all took time to get used to, which is what we often fear… as change is not always easy… but eventually it made me feel the best I have ever felt.
.
Not just physically but more importantly mentally. My mind was razor sharp, I was so focused, I had so much more energy and was able to tackle all the challenges life throws at you better.

People often ask me how I dealt with losing my father at 28 and my mother at 38, plus the many other challenges I faced…
This life balance has made the most painful ordeal a tad more manageable.
.
I think I was 31 here so about 10 years ago and it took me about 2-3 months to get to my goal.
