Thank You for 15 Incredible Years Mexicue started as a humble food truck back in 2010 — a wild idea dreamed up by two friends at a bar in Soho, thinking about smoky brisket tacos served out of the side of an old UPS truck, and the belief that great food brings people together in any environment. From that truck came new partners, restaurants, teams, more markets, guests who became regulars, and a long run we’re incredibly proud of. Unfortunately, the financial challenges of the COVID era — and the difficult post-COVID economic environment — have made it impossible for us to continue operating. After years of fighting to make it work, we’ve made the hard decision to close all Mexicue locations. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who supported us along the way — our teams, our partners, and every guest who shared a meal with us.
