Being at home ? the past few weeks I started going through my hard drive ? and came across hundreds of beats, hooks, concepts, demos from @t.j.always, @yanchanmusic and I just laying around. Different songs ? that were intended for a number of different high level artists ? and projects. Some of these really really old - but still BANGERS ?! We don’t want these songs to go to waste ? so we decided to put together a @beatstars account to make it available for all you artists at home. Before I go into my scheduled ⏰ #askmic post of the week I wanted to address what's going on in the world ?. These past few days have been a rollercoaster ? ! With the events occuring around the world I'm hearing a lot of different opinions ?, a lot of different modes of action and a lot of different beliefs/thoughts. As someone who has a team and roster of artists ? who look up to me as a leader I've been really putting the effort into setting a good example to be responsible as a member of this world ?. Whatever our beliefs and thoughts on the situation are, we all have a responisbilitiy to each other as humans ? to prevent any sort of pain or distress or sickness unto another human being. So with that, forget what you believe, this is the time to be selfless and start thinking as ONE world ?, ONE people. If staying home ? could possibly withhold someone else from getting some sort of sickness ? that can lead to their end - lets come together take action and take things into our own hands to make sure others are not hurt. #staythefuckhome **************************************************** On that note, this video is a convo I had with Mike Cannz about why I love ? working on the spot with an artist when I'm making music ?. By capturing the artist's feelings and emotions right there and then we are able to create a song that represents the rawest ? of their identity. To me that's the best music! In the same vein, we need artists ✏ to capture what's going on in this world at the moment. Connect with people ? as they are going through it, we need our artists to speak up ? !
