. 先日、夏のとても特別な日に、才能ある友人のつぐみさんが写真を撮ってくれました。 その日は、素晴らしいヴォン・ダッチがペイントした1951年式トライアンフ6Tサンダーバードを、滝沢伸さんにお届けした日です。 もしヴォン・ダッチがまだ生きていたなら、この日は彼にとっても忘れられない大切な日になったと思います。 1950〜60年代にスタイルやカスタムカルチャーに大きな影響を与えたヴォン・ダッチの作品を、1990年代から現在に至るまで世界のデザイン、ファッション、ストリートカルチャーを牽引し続ける滝沢伸さんの手に渡せたことは、私にとって大きな誇りです。 これは、つぐみさんが撮ってくれたお気に入りの写真の一部です —— Earlier this summer, I was fortunate to have my talented friend Tsugumi capture a very special day in photos. It was the day I delivered the magnificent Von Dutch–painted 1951 Triumph 6T Thunderbird to Sin Takizawa @sin_takizawa . This day was unforgettable and meaningful for everyone involved — and surely would have been for Von Dutch himself, if he were still with us. To place the work of Von Dutch, a man who shaped style and Kustom Kulture so profoundly in the 1950s and 1960s, into the hands of Sin Takizawa, who since the 1990s continues to define global design, fashion, and street culture, is a moment of great pride for me.
