We’ve just wrapped up the 3rd edition of the Capital Market Summit by @dubaifinancialmarket. This year brought together Ministers, economists, regulators, family offices, founders, and investors with over 1,500 delegates and more than 100 speakers. The bar was truly raised, with the strongest lineup of experts sharing insights across every layer of capital. Delivering an event of this caliber takes a village. A heartfelt thank you to the entire @dubaifinancialmarket team, and especially to its leadership, Hamed Ali. What a pleasure it’s been!

Our 2-week Japan itinerary (landing and departing from Tokyo): • Tokyo (Ginza) – 3 nights We stayed in the heart of Ginza — polished, buzzing, and the perfect intro to Tokyo. We explored Tsukiji Market for the freshest sushi, visited teamLab Planets (a dreamlike digital art experience), crossed the chaos of Shibuya, sang our hearts out at Rainbow karaoke, sipped lattes at a cat café, and of course — tried the iconic 7/11 egg salad sandwich that everyone raves about. I can confirm: totally worth it! • Tokyo Disney Bay – 1 night Checked into the Sheraton Grande and spent a full day at the original Tokyo Disneyland. Nostalgic rides, popcorn in themed buckets, and that signature Disney magic — with a Japanese twist. • Osaka – 3 nights Stayed just steps away from the neon-lit energy of Dotonbori. We ate our way through street food heaven, took a day trip to Nara Park where the deer actually bow, and had the fluffiest pancakes ever at Micasadeco & Café (they’ve got branches in Tokyo and Kyoto too — don’t miss them). Osaka truly lived up to its name as Japan’s kitchen — the flavours, the fun, and the energy were unmatched. • Kyoto – 4 nights We stayed in a traditional onsen ryokan, soaked in hot springs, and fully embraced the slower pace. Highlights included walking through the iconic torii gates of Fushimi Inari, dressing in kimonos, a hands-on ramen-making class, and spotting a geisha quietly gliding through the alleys of Gion. Kyoto’s charm is truly timeless. • Tokyo (Asakusa) – 3 nights We wrapped up our trip in Asakusa, staying at a charming traditional ryokan where old-world Japan meets modern vibes. Our final days were spent exploring Senso-ji Temple, shopping on Kappabashi Street (aka Kitchen Town), loading up on Japanese and Korean skincare at MEGA Donki, and wandering under blooming cherry blossoms — the perfect send-off to an unforgettable trip.
