'AMANDLA' / 'POWER'???? I have been meditating on this word so much lately and the timing of this release is wild as the times ahead call for courage and potency. It was either I wrote this song or allow myself to sink further into a deep dark pit. Lucky for me, my friend caught me and so did the music. It always does. When we made this song the last thing I felt was powerful. It was there, but dormant. These days I find myself calling it forth and embodying it as my reality because that is my true nature. That is our true nature. I hope you unveil power within to face yourself and see yourself clearly. I hope you find power to walk away from where you are not seen. I hope you unveil the power to change what you must to align with your true nature. May we all grow to know the source of love. It holds that fragile tension between two people who truly connect, but whose lives are being pulled in different directions. It’s about love that is real, but where holding on sometimes also means letting go. It’s an ode to the “what could have been”, and about finding meaning in what arrives and stays instead. We have news!! ✨???????? ???? We are dropping a joint EP called Entropy. Entropy, by definition, is the degradation of matter and energy in the universe into an ultimate state of inert uniformity. It represents the general tendency of the universe toward disorder, decay, and eventual death. One may approach this concept with a sense of despair or with surrender, curiosity and acceptance.
