Still speechless!! Today, I had the rare honor of being personally picked up and welcomed by President José Ramos-Horta. Nobel Peace Prize laureate and one of the world’s most respected leaders in peace, independence, and sustainability. • After a one-on-one interview on behalf of Indonesian media & @rumahforgood yesterday (& coming soon!), he graciously took the time to show me around Dili -once in a while stopped to greet the kids and the people, sharing stories about Timor-Leste’s vision for marine protection, reforestation, and the power of youth and community. We even visited the Presidential Palace “Palácio de Lahane” a beautiful glimpse into the country’s spirit and history. • I’m moved by the kindness, insight, and unforgettable hospitality!
