After exploring HRM (Halifax Regional Municipality) for about 2.5 years, I can share that my most favourite place is: Bedford harbourwalk next to DeWolf park. Halifax waterfront is ofcourse on the top too but this walk in my opinion is even more gorgeous. Whats your most favourite place in Nova Scotia? Also, I’m recently watching more Netflix and less YouTube due to no ads with our subscription and loved watching the following recently: The lost husband Anne with an E We also have Amazon prime and Disney Plus so would love recommendations if you have.

Halifax for us: We fell in love with Halifax the moment we arrived here 2.5 years ago. Its just the kind of small-city life we had been craving for years. Most people are not materialistic. Theres more focus on taking life SLOW, being more mindful and intentional rather than run in the rut/race. Great quality of life. Wherever you go, you reach in max 15 mins. Great for raising a family. A perfect combination of natural beauty & friendly people. Its breath-takingly beautiful. #heavenlysummer. Made a ton of great friends instantly. Showing your face on social media: One of my biggest challenges as a blogger has been privacy and the confidence & courage to show my face on social media on a public account. This is one of the most common challenges for most bloggers. Did you struggle with it too? Are you comfortable sharing your face publicly on social media? We were raised to always protect our privacy. When Papa introduced us to the computer (at a very young age), he constantly made us aware of the negative consequences of technology like identity theft, scams, online fraud, hacking etc. But when I wanted to switch from the corporate world to my own blog/business, I realized that it is almost impossible to grow while hiding my face and identity. The truth is that you can only build trust by sharing personal stories and showing your face. If we hide behind the internet, how can we expect our clients to trust us, our brand & business. Even though I used to feel uncomfortable appearing on camera, it got better with time. Even now when I feel a little intimidated by it, I try to keep the bigger picture in mind. I feel socially responsible. So, if I can change/improve a single person's life through my stories (blog), it's worth it. This career choice comes with a lot of pros and I have made my peace with this con as long as I'm conscientious.
