Reality check. As I distanced myself from social medias, I saw myself on more productive and realistic environments. This could be a platform to share life and to facilitate togetherness, specially during a pandemic, but I seem to see a high percentage of people comparing themselves to others and developing a sense of inferiority or superiority rather than togetherness. Maybe for this reason I stopped feeling as inspired to post fotos of myself and the cool things surrounding my life, that is not what I want to spread. The truth is: yes, there are many cool things in our lives IF we learn to see it. There is beauty and happiness. Sometimes it might be necessary to learn to rephrase things and pull oneself out of the vicious cycle of pessimism and complaining, which I also am guilty of (at times). BUT there is also a shit load of crap that we do not share over here. The pandemic F** up any and every plan I had, I went from making a decent wage to NOTHING. I couldn’t see my family for A LOOOONG time, I lost many people I love. Yes, we did learn to see the good things that this change of pace brought, and I learned to be thankful for it, but IT ALSO SUCKED. All the people in the world that you look up to do have diarrhea sometimes, insecurities, challenges, and do go through at least some kind of hardship. Be kind to yourself, please. I think you are awesome and I appreciate your battle. With love, always ♥️

Who r u? #cheshirecat But seriously, who are you? For the last few months our lives (for the majority of us) changed drastically. I think at this point it is common sense to say that it was/is the best time to be introspective and make sense of what really matters. I believe many of us will get out of this stronger, and many will drown themselves into a deep depression. We will most likely not be the same after all of this, I hope. “Never see the same river twice” anyway, hum?! But again, who are you? What makes you get out of bed everyday? What puts an honest smile on your face or brings an uncontrollable laugh to your body? Yesterday I dressed up, put make up on, and high heels after a LONG TIME, and it felt so different in a way. What is different about that? Am I not the same person when I am naked right after shower? Maybe the memory of a lifetime doing this on a regular basis? Maybe a sense of loving oneself and dedicating some time to make you feel a certain way? Batman is the exact same person in or outside his costume, but maybe the costume is a cue to a duty, maybe the costume is a way of hiding one’s face and being safe from enemies. Who are your enemies? What do you take as duty? Can you name any enemy that doesn’t live inside your mind? Maybe the cue to greatness should be entangled to one’s veins or to the energy of the observer inside one’s mind; this way the greatness will live as long as those vibrations. Who are you? Are you the parties you go? Are you the pictures you post on Instagram? Are you your fancy restaurant? Are you the influential people you know? Are you a source of love to who is around you? Are you a source of love to a stranger you will never meet? What would you be doing right now if IG was not a “thing”? Are you the cure for someone’s disease? Are you the highest beautiful vibration you can be right now? Put out to the world what you want to see on it and the world itself will be a mirror to that.

Doing a lot of thinking, doing a lot of breathing, doing a lot of coping about not driving much through the road I trained myself to ‘nonstoply’ drive through. Spent too much time living that thing... weird how we think we are free when we are actually feeding a machine that doesn’t cater to our soul. One day men thought about the reality we are living today and we made it happen. From being creatures driven by pure instinct to being thinkers, lovers... we developed the ability to be more complex and.. uh... what drives us now? We don’t need to worry about wild animals, spreading our genes, saving our species - there is enough of us out there (not really caring about other species and claiming lands that don’t actually belong to anyone - but to everyone, every plant and animal and person). I don’t know what is the meaning of life, I guess it is just to live, maybe? A lot of people haven’t been living much, years and years just trying to make ends meet or maybe hoarding a pile of things because they think that their belongings is the real definition of success. Humans are so weird. Doesn’t seem to me that this reality that was once thought, by men from the past in a primitive reality, fits humanity anymore. Maybe today we can think about the reality that the future generations will live? Maybe renew the definition of success in the current system we live? Maybe success is being able to smile more, love more, see more things, be able to live peacefully around all species, knowing how to share the world, meals, flavors, sensations, laugh when you face a situation that is out of your control... I don’t know, this thing about hoarding stuff or being scared of instability, wanting to be the best... it got out of control. One beautiful doesn’t diminish the other, one achievement doesn’t diminish the other. The owner of the business wouldn’t make it without employees - now, who is more important? Both! No one is better than you, we are just different from each other. THANKFULLY! How boring would the world be if everyone was the same. Maybe, to think about? Much love to you, stay safe and sane. ♥️
