I don’t respect wishy-washy people & God doesn't either. If you have a belief or core value, stand on your square & don’t waiver. I respect those that are firm in their beliefs, even if I disagree. Don't allow others to force you into apology politics. Yes, we live in a triggered society full of weak individuals, but you cannot let that stop ? your purpose.

It's why I could never be a celebrity & one of the reasons I removed myself from the “influencer” space. My livelihood is not dependent on if people like me or my platform. I cannot be canceled & social media will not change my lifestyle??‍♀️. Suffering & rejection is a part of this walk. You cannot escape it! God is our provider & protector, not humans. Stay strong!

“Most people really don't love you; they love how you make them feel.” My husband said this to me this morning when we were discussing the GOAT, Simone Biles. I was shook because it's so true. This is why our identity is rooted in Christ.

This plays out in relationships all the time. Everything is good when you're having premarital sex, all over each other, shacking-up, having kids, & so-called “in-love.” Then, if you make it to the altar, it's all about make me happy, fill me up, do what I say, or I'm bored with you??‍♀️. This is what the term “irreconcilable differences” means. It's great until those problems hit, & they will come?. No matter how perfect your Instagram feed looks.

People always tell you to follow your heart. Act on your feelings & follow your passions, but the WORD says something different?⬇️.

The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Jeremiah 17:9

Never give up hope & don't confuse infatuation or your emotions for LOVE! People love you until they don't, but God's love is forever.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:7). It's an action more than a feeling @wifeyforlifeygroup

Many ladies present #homemaking in a very “cookie-cutter way,” but God created each of us with unique gifts & purposes, or we all would feel & think the same & share the same experiences—but that’s not the case for anyone. In the end, it's all to glorify him, not to puff yourself up with pride for turning into the perfect mold of a woman.

When I first became a #housewife & started to explore the art of homemaking, it was hard to find women to relate to in certain areas of my life. I had a career for over the first decade of my marriage, ran online businesses, & was childfree. Also, there is a lack in the representation of diverse traditional black women in this space. We also deserve the opportunity to be keepers of our home.

I'm not a race-baiter. I don't see myself as a victim, and I don't buy into stereotypical black girl tropes. I want young women to know that this lifestyle is possible for anyone that desires it. Today, I'm sharing homemakers that are all unique, who are at different ages & stages in life⬇️.

Young ladies, education is very important. There are many ways to grow & learn, & college may not be for you, but you should have a plan to elevate your life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A plan is not sitting around waiting to #levelup or marry a man that gives you the opportunity to become a housewife (although it’s nice). We live in a modern era. There are not an abundance of traditional men in the West. There is no scripture that tells women not to get an education?. This is foolish advice from uneducated women??‍♀️.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This COVID situation should have you preparing & thinking about your future & your finances, if you have not started. Higher education is also about connections & networking. For example, when I was in college I met my husband?. When I was in college I joined a sorority?, which gives me the opportunity to connect with powerful women all around the world. Colleges are very LIBERAL these days & I would avoid student loan debt, so choose wisely.
 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being well-educated is about more than a degree & it certainly doesn’t stop you from marriage or motherhood. Most people graduate at the age of 23, which is still a baby. You can start learning a new skill or work on a new certification online in many fields. The most important thing is to be able to take care of yourself during these uncertain times.

Do you have a man that aims to do everything well, properly, and in order?

▶️Due to the lack of f͟a͟t͟h͟e͟r͟s in many homes across the country, a lot of men & women don't have a standard for leadership & masculine traits. They've genuinely never seen it, & some teach about things that they've never had??‍♀️.

These are a few of the things that I’ve picked up about strong, loving, masculine, God-fearing men in my family & community.

1. They live by a moral standard & don't deviate from it often. Not perfect, but so solid!
2. They aim to do EVERYTHING well if they can?. Competitiveness is a strong trait.
3. They want to be the best in their career path & their image & reputation are essential to them. They plan marriage & then family. Order is important to them. This is why shotgun weddings became popular. Men used to take responsibility.
4. They see beyond the moment & are always looking towards the future. Instant gratification is not a dominant trait.
5. They are responsible, consistent, & reliable.
6. They are rooted in their values & you see that in their results, even with flaws & personal struggles.
7. They require good character, RESPECT, & thoughtfulness. They're unable to argue like women. They state their points solid & firm—then walk away.
8. They are firm in their beliefs & you cannot easily persuade them out of them.
9. They do not use epithets towards women, even if they don't like you?. It's a feminine trait. For example, they would never call a woman ugly, fat, too skinny, old, or unattractive publicly. They consider this behavior to be unrefined, crass, or ghetto. They carry themselves as gentlemen.
10. They don't gossip like females.
11. They are not highly emotional & don't swing their fingers & hips around to express themselves. It's rare to see them lose total control.

One thing that the pandemic taught a lot of wise people is to go back to the basics or to explore new skills & alternatives to bring income into their homes.

I used to be a woman that was obsessed with working hard?! I’m glad I gave that up??‍♀️. Since quitting my career years ago, I’ve never felt so rested, feminine, refreshed, & happy! I’m satisfied with being just a #housewife in this phase of my life. I love caring for my husband & my home exclusively. I don't have to answer to anybody but God & my man. I'm free to focus on my community & creative outlets.

Young ladies, marry a man that is willing to give you this option if you so desire it at some point, especially when you have children. My husband has never been happier since I've been home. It truly elevated our relationship & our bond. Grab my book #betheprize here➡️ @wifeyforlifeygroup It's available on Amazon & via PDF download.

I'm a #housewife & I don't get into other married folks' business because that BIBLE will tell you how to succeed in marriage.

B͟u͟t͟...let’s not make up lies?. Most women will have to work in the West, or a specific career is their core value. Some progressions of modern-day society have permanent repercussions & consequences, unfortunately. It's not the 1950’s & society is never going back, no matter how delusional some are. However, some can live by their traditional values fully.

Wives, don't allow people to tell you that you're losing. If you desire to leave the workforce & work from home ? or raise your children, take that request to God & your husband. You're in a covenant that includes masculine leadership, vision, protection, emotional support, deep intimacy, someone who will lay down their life for you, a father in the home, & HELP!

God’s design for married people is to glorify him and to build & grow together spiritually as ONE. I promise that you have more resources to shop, give, save, grow/expand & live well if you've paired with a man that shares your beliefs & values❤️. Stupidity is rampant!
