I’m preparing for our talented students @nicciwelshacademy next week they will be creating beautiful looks inspired by my work backstage at fashion week and from the editorial photo shoots I work on. I love that I can bring all aspects of a professional makeup artist into the education we give at @nicciwelshacademy The NW pro team give them an insight to working with music celebrities on videos and stage, film stars, TV and the new world of insta fame. At our academy the whole world becomes possible and every door is shown. All that’s left to do is for our amazing students to choose one and open it for themselves.

Keep the dream alive. When I was growing up I loved to watch my Mum styling her clients hair, she is also a hairdresser. When asked what I wanted to do when I grew up I answered “Make people look pretty and have fun talking with them. Just like my Mum” That’s the way I always saw her job. I was lucky enough to follow in her footsteps @nicciwelshacademy and even luckier that both my parents installed so much confidence in me to know I could achieve all my dreams. This picture is a symbol of one of those dreams. Working at this level on an international scale but living in one of the smallest countries in the world is not an easy achievement but I’m proof it’s possible. I have so many dreams that I have fulfilled and so many still to fulfill. They grow with me as I work harder and I know each one is possible. Don’t give up on your dreams my lovely friends, even when we are in the world we are today. Know it’s never done, it’s never too late and it’s never over as long as you keep the dream alive.
