As a kid, I built ‘Brick Ramps’ using whatever scrap materials I could find. Once the ramp was set, I’d back up 20 or 30 feet, pedal full speed, and launch off as far as possible. It was love, the thrill of flying on my bike through the air fueled my obsession with BMX. Back then, the bricks were just the foundation of my ramp, but now I realize they are the building blocks of my journey.
