My show with Birgit Jürgenssen opens a week from today in New York at @sliphouse__ She may not remember this but @she_comes_in_technicolor introduced me to Birgit’s work in 2014-2015 when we worked together. Birgit became an instant obsession for me and her work really shifted my entire perception of everything I thought I knew about art. I am forever grateful. Slip House is pleased to present Birgit Jürgenssen & Noelia Towers, on view from October 15 through November 15. The exhibition brings together historic works on paper by Birgit Jürgenssen (b. 1949; d. 2003, Vienna) from the 1970s, alongside photographic works from the late 1980s, and new paintings by Noelia Towers (b. 1992, Barcelona).
