Ontario’s freshwater ecosystems and their cold water resources consistently need protection and restoration efforts. Trout Unlimited Canada and their chapters across the country are doing this integral work.
-
Since TU Niagara’s (@tucniagara.chapter) formation in 2012, they are committed to the restoration and preservation of cold water habitat in the Niagara Region. The primary focus of the chapter’s efforts is Twelve Mile Creek, the region’s only cold water watershed with an existing population of Brook Trout.
-
During the month of May if you join or renew your TU membership, 100% of the fees go directly to the chapter! All of your membership fees help support important education programs, stream restoration projects and more. You can head to tucanada.org to join or renew today and don’t forget to specify your chapter!

Join us for a presentation and discussion highlighting 30x30, and global effort to protect thirty percent of the world's land and water by 2030 in order to combat climate change.
-
Organizers from Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) and Utah Diné Bikeyah will help us break down key components of this ambitious goal and share how you can get involved in the movement. We will use America's Red Rock Wilderness Act to highlight how this bill contributes in a critical way to achieve 30x30 and can inspire action locally across the world.

It's not really enough, especially after this year, to say that moms are heroes. They're doing more than ever—and being a mom is f***ing hard. But that's all the more reason to celebrate them, not just today but always. Since this time last year, a few of our colleagues became moms and one of our ambassadors did as well. Moms are teaching kids how to be adaptable and how to care for the planet, and on top of it all, they're breaking all kinds of new ground.
-
We also think it's important to acknowledge that for some people, Mother's Day is just hard. For
all of you who want to be moms and aren't yet, we see you. For those of you who lost a mom or a mom-equivalent, we see you too.
-
To all of the moms who are still getting outside surfing, climbing, biking, skiing/snowboarding and running while pregnant and breastfeeding, we applaud you too! The role of mom takes so many forms—we hope you enjoy these stories celebrating a few.
