Happy 4th of July! Since we are so blessed to live in a free country when so many other Christians are dying just if they are seen reading their Bible in other places- we can do better in America by being grateful for our freedoms and living for Jesus, diving deeper in the word, truly praying and being involved in church.

So for our wedding anniversary I found a small business run by a sweet lady who makes custom cakes, I asked her to make a vanilla cake with goat cheese frosting and caramelized figs- it was incredible!

She is known for putting beautiful fresh flowers on all of her designs so I just asked if she could use the flowers to make a 7 in honor of our anniversary. She even used the same colors and flowers from our wedding!

She also delivered it to our restaurant where we were having our anniversary dinner! I plan on using her for upcoming bridal showers I am hosting! As a special touch she added edible gold leaf to the sides- a surprise to me I didn't know until we saw the cake.

Miss Shiloh turned 11 months yesterday but that was our anniversary so her celebration had to wait lol! She is walking, talking, has 9 teeth with more coming in and is growing up in a flash!!

She lets us know what she wants when she wants it, she is not a push over and definitely has a drive in her that hopefully God can use to do big kingdom advancement! We can't wait to see how he uses her life.

Happy Father's Day to our hero!!! Serenity loves Dadda more than anything in the world and Shiloh's first word was Dadda! If Shiloh sees Serenity get a hug from Dadda she comes screaming through the room running with her arms wide open.

This photo is proof of the best dad you are- you are holding Shiloh because she was up all night which then woke up Serenity. You stayed up with both of them so I could sleep.
