For the longest time, my journey has been one of transformation not just in my career or vision, but in my body, mindset, and self-worth. There was a time I wrestled with body dysmorphia, when I believed that dieting alone could define my fitness. I became complacent, mistaking control for care. But earlier this year, I chose a different path; one rooted in movement, strength, patience, and perseverance. Taking hormones came with its own challenges; the weight fluctuations, the hormonal imbalance, the constant tug-of-war between my reflection and reality. Yet, through it all, I realized this truth: fitness isn’t about punishment, it’s about partnership between your body and your will. As someone constantly in front of the camera, I once felt pressure to look good. Now, I aim to feel strong. Because when you take care of yourself — inside and out — confidence becomes effortless. Now, nearing the end of the year, I’ve shed more than just weight, I’ve shed doubt. I’ve gained strength, muscle, and self-respect. I fit into sample sizes again, but more importantly, I fit comfortably within myself. I’ve learned that the fastest route is rarely the most fulfilling one. Healing, evolving, and building strength that’s where real transformation happens. This isn’t just about looking fit; it’s about becoming a better, more resilient, and more confident version of me. Here’s to progress, not perfection. Here’s to strength not just in body, but in spirit.

This fashion week season hit different. From kicking it off strong in Milan with the FASHIONPhilippines Milan Mentorship Program @fondazionesozzani @citemph @tettaortiz , where 11 Filipino designers unleashed their finest works, to soaking in @dhruvkapoor ’s show, reconnecting with friends I hadn’t seen in two years, and sneaking in a quick family escape to Florence (because balance, darling).???????? Then came a 24-hour Cannes sprint, straight into Paris Fashion Week chaos; meetings, back-to-back presentations, key events, two home-hosted dinners, and straight from airport to the @lanvin show (yes, no sleep, just serve). Wrapped the week with @faconjacmin sleek presentation I first discovered at @ciffdk and the debut runway of @_aje_ what a full-circle finale. This season was a wild ride of hustle, growth, and gratitude. I’m endlessly thankful to my Momager @thatgirlsabrina , my management @siraemgmt , and the fierce @danielbetan and @notyournarrative for believing, supporting, and opening doors that matter. ✨ My Mahal, Thank you po!????☺️ To my Fierce Community: you are my power source. What makes Filipino design global? It’s the courage to weave heritage into modernity, to let our roots speak in the language of the world. Last September during Milan Fashion Week, I had the honor of meeting 11 visionary Filipino designers who carried the spirit of Philippine craftsmanship to Milan. Through the FASHIONPhilippines Milan Mentorship Program, they engaged in one-on-one mentorship sessions with international fashion leaders, a dialogue between tradition and innovation. The journey culminated in a 3-day exhibition at Fondazione Sozzani, open to the public, where Philippine textiles, artistry, and imagination took center stage. Each piece told a story of identity, resilience, and a nation’s evolving creative force. It’s my first time being part of a Filipino-led initiative on such a global platform, and I am deeply honored and grateful to have witnessed it unfold.???? Endless thanks to @tettaortiz for your vision, @philippinefashioncoalition @dost.ptri @citemph @manilafame and to @saramaino_ , @carlasozzani and @fondazionesozzani for being the pillars that make this bridge between the Manila and Milan possible.
