Another year older, another step closer to 40—and honestly, I’m feeling pretty good about it. Like a classic cup of chai be labn ( Sudanese tea with milk ) : getting stronger, warmer, and a little more comforting with time. Life’s been a journey of lessons, blessings, and “what just happened?” moments—but I’m growing, I’m grateful, and I’m still laughing (mostly at myself). Wisdom is creeping in, along with random back pain, but hey—we move! Alhamdulillah for everything—past, present, and what’s to come. Praying for more peace, more love, more good chai, and a softer, kinder world for us all.
