In case you were wondering, it *is* worth it to invest in a separate detergent just for your delicates. Most detergents are too harsh on lace and silk - and we’re all about extending the lifespan of your precious pieces. For any stubborn stains on bras or underwear, apply a dab of un-diluted Soak directly to the stain and let sit for 15 minutes (or more) before Soaking. If the stain is still present after Soaking, repeat the process and gently massage the stained area by rubbing the fabric on itself. Interrupting your scroll to remind you your knits are due for a hand wash. For the most effective clean, pour a capful of Soak into a gallon of cool water. Make sure there’s enough room for the water to move around and cover the item.⁠ ⁠ Soak it for 15 minutes (longer is okay), then gently squeeze out the water- there’s no need to rinse. Some colour may bleed into the water, but don’t worry, this won’t harm your garment. (But it’s always a good idea to test for colour-fastness before washing.)⁠ ⁠ Gently lift the item out of the Soaking vessel, supporting it with your hands. Squeeze out as much as you can, but be gentle. Don’t wring, twist it or lift the item and let the weight of the water stretch it out.
