Needed to get away to clear my head after how I was feeling post yesterday’s video… ended up on an isolated road in the middle of nowhere Arizona miles away from anything and everything under one of the most expansive and vivid sunsets (last night) screaming at the top of my lungs (just like in a movie - and as you’d expect, it felt amazing) only to end up taking in the mind blowing wonder that is the Grand Canyon today. Man I feel so much more at peace… I guess it’s back to LA…

Tonight’s New Episode of @siestakey is an important one for me. I acknowledge some internal conflicts that effect my relationships and more significantly you all get to meet somebody that’s very important to me… Many people have an idea of who I am - well they assume really - but hopefully tonight will help some of you understand me a little better. Some uh yall are going to hate me (Lol), some will support & uplift me, some won’t believe me… either way - Make sure you guys tune in tonight at 8/7c on @mtv . Having attention on you for whatever reason; excelling at something, being aesthetically pleasing, or in a more immediate scenario - being in the reality tv space - you find yourself in the shadows of your mind a lot . Like - A LOT a lot . There’s ever mounting pressure and it’s difficult to put into words how to describe what that feels like at times . Things get taken out of context , you have to survive the edit , you have to decide if it’s WORTH defending yourself , you deal with damning criticism from people that KNOW the things they are saying are vile so they say them from burner profiles to protect themselves . It’s a lot but we make it through . Some of you guys are absolute lifelines . I know it’s a gamble publicly supporting us sometimes because the hate is REAL but we see it and we appreciate you for it . I chose these photos for this caption because I’m finally at a point where I feel supported enough to strip down the layers (both figuratively & literally it seems . Lol) and make something beautiful WITH the shadows . . . talking about the hard moments and growing more into new forms of Joe . Oh and lastly - without the dark moments I wouldn’t have noticed those of you good ones out there standing up when you’ve felt led to . . . so yea . . . looky there , y’all get some booty pics as a thank you . I can’t remember the last time I danced as much as I did last night . The vibe was something I can’t describe . I have goosebumps trying to figure out the words to write here . One note I will make is - everybody here is beautiful BUT to be recognized for your ENERGY is something that just sits so beautifully . The connection I’ve felt with complete strangers that have become a part of some of the best moments I can’t wait to share with the people I care about is absolutely insane . (If that makes sense . Lol) . It’s not black or white or gay or bi or straight or even where you’re from - it’s all about how you make people feel out here and that’s something that makes me feel incredibly full . Tulum is a dream .

So they released the Stagecoach lineup a couple days ago and it took me back. My first stagecoach weekend was one of the most unexpected but FIRE weekends I could have asked for. I originally wasn’t supposed to go because at the time I wasn’t really into country music AT ALL but I pulled the trigger last minute ?? Had I not, I never would have met Kelsey & Jules, I wouldn’t have been fully introduced to this genre of music and I wouldn’t have been offered some of the life changing experiences and opportunities I have had over the last two and a half years (like the show). So I don’t know the point of this caption but here’s a take away - be spontaneous as much as you can because you never know how amazingly it could impact your life ?? Should Island Joe get some assless chaps ? ! ? #Stagecoach
